Pomegrante a Wonder Fruit?

The pomegrante garden stome house  I saw during my vacations inspired me to write something about this beautiful red fruit. I always wonder about the intensive red color of its fruits, seeds and flowers!

Pomegranates in Greece are not only “food” as they are a traditional folk decoration of their homes as pomegranates are a symbol of joyous times, fertility, prosperity and good luck.

The pomegranate (punica granatum) is native to the region of Persia (modern day Iran) and the western Himalayan range. It has been cultivated since thousands. Greek mythology is also filled with images and legends of the pomegranate.

Recently this fruit has been discovered and used is cosmetics.

Apparently many health benefits have reported and assigned to this fruit.
